Graeya Terms of Service
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Graeya mobile application and related services (the "App") provided by Grace Guide LLC ("Grace Guide," "we," "us," or "our").
By downloading, installing, accessing, or using the App, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated by reference. If you do not agree, do not use the App.

1. ACCEPTANCE OF TERMS
By using the App, you represent that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you use the App on behalf of another person or organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that person or organization to these Terms.
2. ELIGIBILITY
The App is intended for users who are at least 13 years of age. If you are under 18 (or the age of majority where you live), you may use the App only with the permission and supervision of a parent or legal guardian who agrees to these Terms on your behalf.
You may not use the App if you are barred from doing so under applicable law or if we have previously suspended or terminated your access.
3. DESCRIPTION OF THE APP AND SERVICES
Graeya is a Bible study and daily verse application designed to provide spiritual encouragement and study tools. Depending on your device, settings, and subscription or access status, the App may include:
- Daily Bible verses, insights, and study materials
- Multiple Bible translations with favorites, bookmarks, highlights, and notes
- Personal journal entries and journal groups
- Audio reading via on-device text-to-speech
- Customizable appearance options, including themes and background overlays
- Study progress tracking
- Optional push notifications, including study reminders and Graeya Inspiration messages
- Optional account sign-in and cloud sync across devices
- In-app feedback and rating tools
- Sharing of verses and content through your device's native share features
- Optional home screen widgets that display verse or related content from the App
- Paid subscription access to some or all features, as described in the App
Features may change, be added, or be removed over time. We do not guarantee that any particular feature will always be available.
4. ACCOUNTS, AUTHENTICATION, AND CLOUD SYNC
A. Optional and anonymous use
You may use many App features without creating a registered account. On iOS and Android, an anonymous account may be created automatically to support push notifications and device registration, as described in our Privacy Policy.
B. Registered accounts
You may optionally sign in using Google, Sign in with Apple, or email and password. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials and for all activity under your account. Notify us promptly at [email protected] if you believe your account has been compromised.
C. Cloud sync
When signed in (including certain anonymous sessions where sync is enabled), favorites, highlights, notes, journal entries, study progress, and related preferences may be stored in the cloud to enable backup and cross-device sync. Cloud sync is provided on an "as is" basis. Sync conflicts, connectivity issues, device failures, or service outages may affect your data. For email/password accounts, cloud backup of personal content may require a verified email address, as described in the App and Privacy Policy. Guests and verified Google/Apple sign-in are handled as described there.
D. Account deletion
Registered users may delete their account through in-app account settings. Account deletion initiates removal of associated cloud data through our server-side deletion process, subject to reasonable backup and legal retention limits described in our Privacy Policy. Deleting your Graeya account does not cancel App Store or Google Play subscriptions; you must manage those separately. Uninstalling the App does not delete cloud data for a registered account unless you delete your account first.
5. USER CONTENT
A. Your content
You may create, store, and sync content in the App, including journal entries, journal groups, verse highlights, notes, favorites, and study responses you type or enter with your device keyboard (including the keyboard’s own dictation, if you use it) ("User Content"). You retain ownership of your User Content.
B. License to Grace Guide
You grant Grace Guide a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, store, reproduce, sync, transmit, display, and process your User Content solely as necessary to: (i) provide the App’s features to you (including backup and cross-device sync); (ii) maintain and secure the App and our systems; (iii) provide support you request; and (iv) comply with law. We do not claim a license to use your journals, notes, highlights, or similar personal User Content for advertising, sale to third parties, or unrelated product marketing. This license ends when your User Content is deleted from our systems, except where retention is required by law or reasonable backup practices.
C. Your responsibilities
You are solely responsible for your User Content and for maintaining backups of content that is important to you. Do not submit User Content that is unlawful, harassing, defamatory, obscene, infringing, or otherwise objectionable. If you share verses or other content through your device's share sheet or similar features, you are responsible for what you share and with whom you share it.
D. Our rights
We do not routinely monitor User Content but may remove content or suspend or terminate access if we reasonably believe content or conduct violates these Terms, applicable law, or the rights of others, or if required by law or legal process.
6. ACCEPTABLE USE
You agree to use the App only for lawful, personal, non-commercial purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You agree not to:
- Violate any applicable law or regulation
- Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract source code from the App except as permitted by law
- Circumvent access controls, subscription checks, or security measures
- Access or attempt to access Firebase, admin tools, or other users' data without authorization
- Scrape, bulk download, or systematically extract App content except through features we provide
- Submit false, misleading, or spam feedback or ratings
- Interfere with or disrupt the App, servers, notification systems, or other users' experience
- Use the App in any manner that could harm Grace Guide, other users, or third parties
- Use sign-in, billing, or feedback features in violation of Apple App Store or Google Play policies
We may investigate violations and cooperate with law enforcement where appropriate.
7. BIBLE CONTENT, APP MATERIALS, AND INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY
A. Grace Guide materials
The Graeya name, logo, user interface, design, original study content, insights, themes, graphics, and other materials we provide (excluding User Content and third-party materials) are owned by Grace Guide LLC or our licensors and are protected by intellectual property laws. Except for the limited rights expressly granted in these Terms, no rights are transferred to you.
B. Bible translations
The App currently includes the World English Bible (WEB), King James Version (KJV), Bible in Basic English (BBE), American Standard Version (ASV), Italian Riveduta (ITARIV), and Reina-Valera 1909 (RV1909). Grace Guide believes these Bible translations are in the public domain in the United States.
Public-domain status and other rights associated with Bible translations may vary by country or jurisdiction. Certain translation names, trademarks, formatting, annotations, or other materials associated with a Bible translation may also be subject to separate rights.
Bible text within the App is provided for personal study, educational, and spiritual purposes. Grace Guide may add, remove, replace, or modify the selection of Bible translations available through the App at any time. If licensed or otherwise restricted translations are added in the future, applicable copyright notices, attribution requirements, license terms, or other notices may be provided within the App as appropriate.
C. Open source and third-party software
The App incorporates open-source and third-party software, including the Flutter framework and other libraries, each subject to its respective license. Nothing in these Terms limits your rights under those licenses.
D. Restrictions
You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, or create derivative works from the App or Grace Guide materials except as expressly permitted by these Terms or applicable law.
E. AI-assisted content preparation
Certain original App materials—including Bible study guides, theme and insight descriptions, inspirational or notification messages, and select background visuals—may be prepared with the assistance of automated writing or design tools under human direction and review by Grace Guide LLC before publication. Bible translation text comes from public-domain sources and is not AI-generated. All such materials are provided for inspirational and educational purposes only and should not be relied upon as professional theological, pastoral, medical, or mental health advice (see Section 10).
8. SUBSCRIPTIONS, BILLING, TRIALS, AND PROMOTIONAL ACCESS
A. Subscription plans
Graeya may offer auto-renewable subscription plans (for example, monthly or annual) that provide access to some or all App features. Subscriptions are purchased through your Apple App Store or Google Play account. Pricing, plan length, and included features are shown in the App before purchase.
B. Auto-renewal
Subscriptions automatically renew unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period. Your account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period at the then-current rate, unless canceled through your app store account settings.
C. Free trials
Monthly and annual subscriptions include a seven (7) day free trial, as configured in the Apple App Store and Google Play. After the trial, the subscription converts to a paid auto-renewing plan unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the trial ends. If you subscribe during or after a trial, any unused portion of the trial may be forfeited as provided by the app store. The store purchase sheet shows the applicable offer for your Apple or Google account; users who have already redeemed an introductory offer on that store account may not receive another trial. Billing and cancellation remain controlled by Apple or Google.
D. Manage, restore, and cancel
You may manage, restore, or cancel subscriptions through your Apple App Store or Google Play account settings. Restoring purchases may re-enable access on a new device subject to store verification. Canceling a subscription stops future charges but does not automatically delete your account or cloud data.
E. Refunds and billing disputes
All payments, renewals, and refunds are processed by Apple or Google in accordance with their terms and policies. Grace Guide does not process payment card transactions directly and cannot issue app store refunds except where required by law.
F. Price changes
Subscription prices may change for future billing periods. Where required, the app store will provide notice and an opportunity to accept the new price or cancel.
G. Promotional or beta access
Grace Guide may, at its sole discretion, grant temporary promotional, beta, or complimentary access to some or all features without charge. Such access may be modified or revoked at any time, does not guarantee future free access, and does not waive subscription requirements after the promotional period ends unless we expressly state otherwise in writing.
H. Access after cancellation
If your subscription ends or is not renewed, access to subscription-gated features may be limited as described in the App. Local data on your device may remain until you remove it or uninstall the App.
I. Billing issues and grace periods
App stores may offer billing retry or grace-period handling when a renewal payment fails. During any such period offered by Apple or Google, access may continue according to store rules and the App’s entitlement checks. Grace Guide does not control store billing systems.
9. PUSH NOTIFICATIONS
If you enable notifications, the App may send study reminders, service messages, and optional inspiration content through Firebase Cloud Messaging and, on iOS, Apple Push Notification service (APNs). Optional topics such as Graeya Inspiration are opt-in where indicated in the App.
You may disable notifications at any time in App settings and in your device system settings. Push messages are informational and inspirational only and are not professional advice (see Section 10). Message frequency may vary.
10. NO PROFESSIONAL ADVICE
Graeya is a faith-based application designed to provide spiritual encouragement, inspirational content, and general informational resources. Graeya does not provide medical, psychological, therapeutic, pastoral counseling, or other professional advice, diagnosis, or treatment.
All content made available through the App, including but not limited to Bible verses, devotionals, reflections, push notifications, study materials, and other materials (including content described in Section 7.E), is provided for informational and inspirational purposes only. Use of the App does not create any professional relationship between you and Grace Guide LLC.
You should not rely on the App as a substitute for professional medical, mental health, legal, financial, or other advice, or for emergency services. Graeya is not an emergency service; if you are in danger or experiencing a medical or mental-health emergency, call your local emergency number immediately. If you have concerns regarding your physical or mental health, seek advice from a qualified licensed professional. Never disregard professional advice or delay seeking it because of something you read or experienced through Graeya.
By using the App, you acknowledge that Grace Guide LLC is not responsible or liable for decisions, actions, or outcomes resulting from your use of the App or reliance on its content.
11. PRIVACY
Your privacy is important to us. Our Privacy Policy, available in the App under Menu → About, explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your choices—including optional analytics and crash reporting controls, push notification preferences, and account deletion.
By using the App, you acknowledge that you have read our Privacy Policy. If you create an account, enable cloud sync, submit feedback, or use subscription or notification features, you agree that we may process information as described in the Privacy Policy.
12. THIRD-PARTY SERVICES
The App relies on third-party services, including Google Firebase, Google Sign-In, Sign in with Apple, Apple App Store, Google Play, and Apple Push Notification service. Your use of those services may be subject to their separate terms and privacy policies. Grace Guide is not responsible for third-party services outside our reasonable control.
Links to certain third-party policies are provided in our Privacy Policy for convenience.
13. FEEDBACK AND IN-APP RATINGS
If you submit star ratings, written feedback, or other suggestions through the App, you grant Grace Guide a perpetual, irrevocable, royalty-free license to use, reproduce, and incorporate that feedback to operate and improve the App without compensation or attribution, except where prohibited by law.
In-app ratings and feedback are not public App Store or Google Play reviews and are handled as described in our Privacy Policy. Do not include sensitive personal information in optional feedback fields.
14. DISCLAIMER OF WARRANTIES
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, THE APP AND ALL CONTENT, FEATURES, AND SERVICES ARE PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS, IMPLIED, OR STATUTORY.
GRACE GUIDE DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES, INCLUDING IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE, NON-INFRINGEMENT, AND QUIET ENJOYMENT.
WITHOUT LIMITING THE FOREGOING, WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE APP WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, SECURE, COMPATIBLE WITH EVERY DEVICE, OR THAT CONTENT (INCLUDING BIBLE TEXT, SYNCED DATA, OR NOTIFICATIONS) WILL BE ACCURATE, COMPLETE, OR CURRENT.
Some jurisdictions do not allow exclusion of certain warranties, so some of the above exclusions may not apply to you.
15. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW:
A. Grace Guide LLC and its officers, directors, employees, contractors, and affiliates will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for loss of profits, data, goodwill, or spiritual, emotional, or intangible harm arising out of or related to your use of or inability to use the App.
B. Grace Guide LLC's total liability for any claim arising out of or relating to these Terms or the App shall not exceed the greater of (i) the amount you paid to Grace Guide for App subscriptions in the twelve (12) months before the event giving rise to the claim, or (ii) twenty-five U.S. dollars (US $25).
C. Without limiting the above, Grace Guide is not liable for loss of User Content, sync failures, device or app store billing errors, actions of third-party providers, or reliance on inspirational or Bible content.
Some jurisdictions do not allow limitation of liability for certain damages; in those jurisdictions, our liability is limited to the fullest extent permitted by law.
16. INDEMNIFICATION
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, you agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Grace Guide LLC and its officers, directors, employees, contractors, and affiliates from and against any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, costs, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of or related to: (a) your use of the App; (b) your User Content; (c) your violation of these Terms; or (d) your violation of any law or the rights of a third party.
We may assume exclusive defense and control of any matter subject to indemnification by you, and you agree to cooperate with our defense.
17. DISPUTE RESOLUTION AND GOVERNING LAW
A. Governing law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Tennessee, United States, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
B. Informal resolution
Before filing a formal claim, you agree to contact us at [email protected] and attempt in good faith to resolve the dispute informally.
C. Venue
Except where prohibited by applicable consumer protection law, you and Grace Guide agree that any judicial proceeding arising out of or relating to these Terms or the App shall be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Tennessee, and you consent to personal jurisdiction in those courts.
D. Time limit
To the extent permitted by law, any claim arising out of or relating to these Terms or the App must be filed within one (1) year after the claim accrues, or it is permanently barred.
18. CHANGES TO THESE TERMS
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will post the updated Terms in the App (Menu → About) and update the "Last Updated" date. Material changes may also be communicated through the App, email, push notification, or other reasonable means.
Your continued use of the App after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms. If you do not agree to updated Terms, stop using the App and, if applicable, cancel your subscription and delete your account.
19. TERMINATION AND SUSPENSION
A. Your choices
You may stop using the App at any time by uninstalling it. Cancel subscriptions through your app store account settings. Registered users may delete their account in the App as described in Section 4.
B. Our rights
We may suspend or terminate your access to the App or certain features at any time, with or without notice, if we reasonably believe you violated these Terms, created risk or legal exposure for Grace Guide or others, or if we discontinue the App or a feature.
C. Effect of termination
Upon termination, your right to use the App ends immediately. Sections that by their nature should survive (including intellectual property, disclaimers, limitation of liability, indemnification, dispute resolution, and miscellaneous provisions) will survive termination.
20. MISCELLANEOUS
A. Entire agreement
These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy and any additional terms presented in the App for specific features, constitute the entire agreement between you and Grace Guide regarding the App and supersede prior agreements on the same subject.
B. Severability
If any provision of these Terms is held invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in full force and effect.
C. No waiver
Our failure to enforce any provision is not a waiver of that provision or any other provision.
D. Assignment
You may not assign or transfer these Terms or your account without our prior written consent. Grace Guide may assign these Terms in connection with a merger, acquisition, reorganization, or sale of assets.
E. Electronic communications
You consent to receive communications from us electronically, including through the App, email, or push notifications, and agree that such communications satisfy legal notice requirements where permitted.
F. Force majeure
Grace Guide is not liable for delay or failure to perform due to events beyond our reasonable control, including internet outages, app store actions, natural disasters, war, labor disputes, or failures of third-party providers.
G. Apple and Google
If you downloaded the App from the Apple App Store or Google Play, you acknowledge that: (i) these Terms are between you and Grace Guide LLC, not Apple or Google; (ii) Apple and Google are not responsible for the App or its content; (iii) Apple and Google have no obligation to provide maintenance or support for the App; (iv) to the maximum extent permitted by law, Apple and Google have no warranty obligation regarding the App; (v) Apple and Google are not responsible for addressing claims relating to the App (including product liability, legal/regulatory compliance, or consumer protection claims); (vi) Apple and Google are not responsible for investigating, defending, settling, or discharging intellectual property infringement claims related to the App; and (vii) Apple and Google (and their subsidiaries) are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms solely as needed to enforce the foregoing, and you accept that those providers may enforce such rights. Your use of the stores remains subject to Apple’s and Google’s applicable terms.
